The method of homeopathic remedy preparation is called potentization, that utilizes a very minute quantity of the original substance. A very small portion of any substance, as one part, is mixed with 99 parts of distilled water or alcohol. This solution is then succussed(shaken) vigorously and it is called 1C potency. Now out of this solution, one part is taken and mixed with 99 parts of alcohol or distilled water and succussed again. That produces a 2c potency of the remedy. The process goes on until a desired potency is reached, such as , 30c, 200c, 1000c, 10000c, etc..
